The Huadu District Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference has organized and sent its members on an inspection tour to speed up the construction of the "Green Energy Valley" in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macau Greater Bay Area, and to promote the high-quality development of the new energy industry.

At Guangzhou Langtian New Energy Technology Co., Ltd. the main leaders of the District Government, members of the leading groups of the CPPCC District Committee and members of the CPPCC District Committee had cordial exchanges with the principal officers of the enterprise, learning in detail about the progress of project construction, market prospects and development plans of the enterprise.

The inspection team also went to Guangzhou Gokin Solar Energy Technology Co., Ltd. There they visited the exhibition hall and workshop of the enterprise, had in-depth exchanges with principal officers of the enterprise, and learned in detail about the enterprise's technology update, production capacity and output value, and market sales, and encouraged the enterprise to keep a close eye on the frontier of the industry and the demand of the market, give full play to their strengths, dig deep into the potentials, enrich the application scenarios, and continuously improve the core competitiveness of the enterprise.

The information shows that Huadu is vigorously building a major industrial platform under the name of "Green Energy Valley" in the Greater Bay Area featuring "10,000 mu and 100 billion-yuan clusters", and constructing an industrial spatial layout of "one district, two sections and three bases". Now the "Green Energy Valley" has signed contracts for 34 new energy industry projects, including a 10 billion-yuan Gokin project of 16GW photovoltaic module industrial park. The Gokin project in the "Green Energy Valley" has competed during its first stage the construction of premises 101 with 8 production lines ready to be put into operation; and 4 of them have already been put into full production and are estimated to achieve over 5 billion yuan output value this year. Blue Ocean Robot, a supporting enterprise, has a market share of up to 35% in the field of special AGV intelligent robots for photovoltaic logistics, ranking second in the country. Hersio, Haitian, Kingforyou, Frey, Huafeng and a number of other new energy vehicle projects also moving at accelerated pace in construction and production.

The main leaders of the CPPCC District Committe said that Huadu, as home to the only large-scale dual hub in the Greater Bay Area, was advantageously positioned to develop new energy industry, and it was the right time to plan for the construction of the GBA Green Energy Valley. All relevant government agencies should speed up the formulation of inclusive policies for new energy industry, and build, with reference to the energy security and the actual situation of Huadu, a clean and efficient energy supply guarantee system featuring the synergistic development of multiple types of energy including "solar energy, energy storage and hydrogen energy"; should emphasize on the green and low-carbon transition of energy, and build a demonstration area for green and low-carbon development in the Greater Bay Area; and should adhere to the approach of driving the development of industry by resources, effectively shorten the time of the "planning, investment, construction and production" cycle, build the whole industrial chain of energy development and utilization, and strive to create three "trillion-level" industrial clusters of photovoltaic energy, energy storage and hydrogen energy.

The main leaders of the District Government said that the planning of the construction of the GBA "Green Energy Valley" was a key move of Huadu District as Guangzhou's north growth pole to accelerate industrial transformation and upgrading and to promote the conversion of old and new driving forces, and it is also a critical step for Huadu to achieve industrial transformation and upgrading, and to shape new advantages of development. All relevant government agencies should deeply understand the importance of the development of new energy industry, optimize the top-level planning, focus on leading with policies, exercise bigger, stronger and deeper effort in promoting investment in new energy industry chain, accelerate the establishment of the “Green Energy Valley” industrial investment fund, and step up technological innovation, so as to lay a solid foundation for a prosperous “Green Energy Valley”. At the same time, the agencies of the District should strengthen the comprehensive integration and coordination, establish and improve a sound working mechanism, strengthen the guidance and services for“Green Energy Valley” construction; and towns and streets should cooperate actively, and do a good job in project implementation and provision of services to enterprises; and coordination should be strengthened to concentrate the District's strength and resources to elevate the construction of the “Green Energy Valley” to a new level.
