Dongfeng Nissan N7, the first strategic NEV model using the Vita Platform of Dongfeng Nissan, was officially launched at Guangzhou Baiyun International Convention Center, with a price tag ranging between 119,900 and 149,900. It became a bestselling car immediately after launch, with a cumulative order of more than 10,000 units.

The N7 is positioned as an "ultra-comfortable mid-to-high-end pure electric sedan" tailored for mainstream family users in China. Zhou Feng, Executive Vice President of Dongfeng Motor Company Limited and Deputy General Manager of Dongfeng Nissan, said, "Bearing in mind the goal of building the 'family oriented' pure electric car with a price tag under 200,000 yuan, Dongfeng Nissan has taken the lead in three key areas: adhering to the high quality standards of a joint venture, entering the first tier of the industry in intelligentization, and surpassing luxury cars in comfort.”

Brand new design, elegant and pure

The design of N7, which is led by a local Chinese design team for the first time by integrating Nissan's global design concept, is more in line with the beauty concepts of home users.

Adopting the design language of "minimalist beauty with wise inside", the new car has a shape conforming to the golden ratio of 0.618, a wheel to axle ratio of 3, and seamless integration design of multiple parts of the vehicle, among others, presenting an elegant and pure visual effect. The brand new design won N7 the "Oscar" of industrial design, the Red Dot Design Award.

The N7 derives its colors from the inspiration of the nature. There are six colors in two major categories, including four inspired colors, Streamer Silver, Ink Ocean Blue, Frost Snow White, and Oatmeal Beige, and two classic colors, Obsidian Black and Forest Green. Adopting anti-aging process of the same level as luxury cars, the paint will not fade or lose luster for 10 years.

A new comfort benchmark for cars under 200,000 yuan

Spacious interior is the foundation of car comfort. 4930mm in length, 1895mm in width, 1487mm in height, and 2915mm in wheelbase, it is a standard medium and large size sedan. Its 83% space efficiency ratio is the highest in its class.

In addition to the extra large space, Dongfeng Nissan N7 also has a complete "super comfort four-piece suit" for a car under 200,000 yuan. N7's intelligent cooling and heating refrigerator has wide temperature range, and fast cooling and other features, supporting -6°C~10°C refrigeration and 35°C~55°C thermal heating; its compressor-based design can lower the temperature from 25 °C to 0 °C in mere 15 minutes; it has a storage space up to 5.8L, and can keep the temperature for up to 24 hours when away from the car.

Based on the AI zero-pressure cloud blanket seat, Dongfeng Nissan and users have co-created a super cultural and creative product - AI zero-pressure cloud blanket office chair, which has been put on shelf in the official shopping mall during the press conference. Priced at 9888 yuan, the chair has the same AI adaptation, massage, ventilation, and heating functions as the AI zero-pressure cloud blanket seat; and a single charge can sustain it for 5 continuous hours

Besides super comfort, N7 is also fun to drive. The self-developed electric drive assembly aboard can achieve precise control of torque output through 1/10,000-second grade flash electric control, delivering seamlessly responsive and ultra-smooth power output.. The chassis of N7 incorporates the tuning experience of Nissan's legendary GT-R sports car, and is equipped with the same Bosch DP-EPS steering system as the luxury cars, and a unique new shock absorber to achieve the perfect balance between comfort and handling.

Not only that, N7 also has the industry's first full-range intelligent anti-motion sickness technology, which bridges multiple fields such as chassis, power, cockpit, and combined driving assistance, to build the industry's most comprehensive anti-motion sickness countermeasures. The technology has obtained the industry's first "comfortable and non-motion sickness" certification from China Automotive Technology & Research Center, redefining a new benchmark for comfort mobility of smart electric vehicle.

Entering the first tier of the industry in intelligentization

More considerate companionship powered by technology

The intelligent performance of Dongfeng Nissan N7 has reached the first tier of the industry; in particular its new NISSAN OS super vehicle device system is nothing short of a "dark horse of the industry". Equipped with Qualcomm Snapdragon 8295P, which is currently the most powerful chip in the industry, 32GB RAM, and 256GB ROM, the vehicle device system can not only multitask easily and smoothly, but also supports continuous OTA updates for more complex application expansion.

The N7 is also equipped with one-stage end-to-end integrated driving assistance function that is leading in the industry. As the first model jointly created by Dongfeng Nissan and Momenta, N7 has undergone 12 rounds of calibration and optimization, together with 76 major and minor software iterations during the development process to successfully realize the deep coupling of software algorithms and chassis hardware, bringing to users safe, worry-free and comfortable experience with driving assistance.

In the highway NOA mode, N7 can singlehandedly cope with scenarios such as merging into the main traffic, avoiding large vehicle, steering with big curve, and passing through ETC. In the city NOA mode, N7 can also perform well in scenarios such as unprotected left or right turns, cut-in prevention games, and Lane-borrowing bypass maneuvers.

In terms of parking assistance, in addition to basic parking scenarios, it also supports high-quality parking in complex scenarios such as angled parking spaces, dead-end parking spaces, and ultra-narrow parking spaces.

Adhering to the high quality standards of a joint venture

Safe mobility protector of the whole family

Every N7 to roll off the assembly line of the global benchmark factory has to pass more than 7,400 R&D experimental evaluations, over 5,500 new car quality confirmations for trial production, and more than 2,000 car quality control inspections for mass production. The electric drive and battery are all independently developed and produced by Dongfeng Nissan with high standards, ensuring the safety and reliability to the greatest extent.

N7's ultra-safe cage structure successfully survived the industry's first Bayanbulak Rollover Test. Installed on board is a super safe batter that is the first in the industry to pass successfully the quadruple nail penetration test on multi-cell battery with no thermal runaway propagation, after 146 ultra-high standard battery guarantee tests. According to the new national standard to be released in 2026, N7's battery passes not only all 24 standard tests, but also three new tests of thermal diffusion, bottom impact, and safety test after fast charging cycle.

In addition to complete passive safety protections, N7 is also equipped with 16 active safety systems to build a safety barrier for customers. Moreover, N7 offers users zero-anxiety mobility. N7 has a maximum range of 635km, sufficient to sustain customer's use for a week.
