A grand press conference was held on October 10th in Huadu District for the 4th Guangzhou Huadu Fashion ala in 2025. Themed on "Technology Empowers Fashion to Make Beauty Bloom in Huadu" the press conference officially kicked off the 2025 fashion extravaganza with a series of exciting segments, and showcased Huadu District’s extraordinary vitality and innovative ambition as an important cradle of China’s fashion industry.

Song Wenming, Chairperson of the Organizing Committee, gave full introduction to the overall plan and key highlights of the 4th Guangzhou Huadu Fashion Gala, which is deeply integrated with leather goods and luggage, fashion design, cultural tourism, and digital cultural creation. From October to December, an industrial and fashion feast will be offered throughout the whole season. Combining fashion brand launches, Miss Tourism Cultural World beauty pageant, design competitions, e-commerce empowerment, intelligent forums, and cultural tourism promotion, it will present the world with a multi-dimensional, diverse, and charming "Fashionable Huadu."

At the event, a signing and launching ceremony was held for Dream Chasers in Leather City, the first micro-drama in China that has its settings in the leather goods and luggage industry. This project marks a milestone in Huadu District’s promotion of the "Fashion + Micro-Drama" industry integration. It aims to inject new cultural momentum into traditional industries by vividly telling the story of entrepreneurial and craftsmanship spirit of Huadu's leather craftsmen in the form of micro-drama, which is highly popular now

"Fashion, Cultural Tourism, and Beauty Pageant"

Also held on the same day was the ceremony for flag handover to the host city of the China Finals of the Miss Tourism Cultural World competition, which marked Huadu's assuming the role of official host. A "dream team" of 20 contestants of Miss Tourism Cultural World and international supermodel champions entered the venue wearing honorary sashes, dazzling crowns, and magnificent evening gowns. Their arrival added international stardom to Huadu and sent a signal that during the fashion gala, Huadu would be the place where global attention was directed for beauty and fashion.

The successful hosting of this press conference not only officially heralded the 4th Guangzhou Huadu Fashion Gala 2025 but also fully demonstrated Huadu District’s firm determination to use fashion as a medium to promote industrial upgrading, facilitate cultural tourism integration, and enhance its city brand image.
