On March 11, Huadu "Air-based Synergy Partner" Enterprise Supply and Demand Matchmaking Conference (special session for "Aviation + Cultural Tourism") was held at the site of Huadu Airport Committee. In implementing the spirit of the high-quality development conferences of Guangdong province and Guangzhou city, the Conference aims to transform the large passenger flow of Baiyun Airport into the core driving force for the development of Huadu's characteristic industries, and help improve the quality and upgrading of airport consumption. The Conference was jointly organized by the District Airport Committee and the District Bureau of Culture, Radio, Film, Television, Tourism, and Sports. Relevant leaders of Huadu District attended and addressed the Conference. Also present at the Conference were relevant persons in charge of the District Bureau of Culture, Radio, Film, Television, Tourism, and Sports, and representatives of a number of key industry associations, and enterprises in aviation, cultural tourism, leather goods, cosmetics, jewelry and other industries of the District.

At the conference, representatives of Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport Company Limited, the First Terminal Area Management Company, and various airlines such as Air China, Shenzhen Airlines, Hainan Airlines, China Southern Airlines, and China Eastern Airlines successively introduced their operation, commercial space resources and future cooperation demands. Heads of scenic spots such as Sunac Cultural Tourism City, Jiulong Lake, Maling, etc., and representatives of enterprises in industries such as leather goods, cosmetics, jewelry, special souvenirs, and intangible cultural heritage related cultural and creative, explored cooperation opportunities with airlines surrounding topics like product settlement at the airport, channel resource sharing, and scenario-based marketing. The District Airport Committee and the District Bureau of Culture, Radio, Film, Television, Tourism, and Sports responded on the spot to the concerns of enterprises and put forward concrete work paths to promote the deep integration of "aviation + cultural tourism".

As it was pointed out in the speech of the District leader, this matchmaking conference, focusing on practical pain points, was a timely event of far-reaching effect. With a passenger flow of more than 83 million last year, Baiyun Airport had was a "rich mine" within the reach of Huadu. The core idea of "aviation + cultural tourism" alliance was to solve the dilemma that passengers "pass without staying, flow without spending", so that "traffic" not only passes through Huadu, but also flows to Huadu and stays in Huadu. This "hand shaking" was an inevitable choice for complementation of resources. The deep coupling of Huadu's solid industrial foundation with the platform advantages of airport airlines promised broad prospects. Firstly, we must "open the door", and airport airlines should release commercial space and traffic dividends with a more open attitude; secondly, "build up internal strength", and local enterprises should develop more attractive and Huadu exclusive products for aviation scenarios; and thirdly, “keep it normal and perpetual”, and government departments should establish a regular matchmaking mechanism to ensure that everything and every item related to cooperation intentions reached today are implemented and responded.

According to the District leader, the core of the party building brand of “Air-based Synergy” lay in organizational synergy, development synergy, and service synergy. This matchmaking conference was a vivid embodiment of these three synergies. He hoped that all parties, with the attitude of "partners to success”, work together to retain the flow of people at the airport, turning "passers-by" into "customers", and jointly write a new chapter of business in converting "flow" to "stay".

This special session of matchmaking conference not only built a bridge for precise cooperation between the aviation industry and Huadu's characteristic industries, but also marked a substantial step of the "Air-based Synergy" brand in the field of "aviation + cultural tourism".
