April 14 witnessed the successful holding of China Auto Digital Intellectualization Conference 2023 in Huadu District. 　　Now, Huadu District is embracing the new normal of digital economy development and making every effort to create a new pattern of industrial development featuring "one district, one city, one port and one bay". intelligent and connected vehicle industry in Huadu is developing by leaps and bounds, and the industrial chain of intelligent and networked vehicles and that of new energy vehicles are coming into shape at accelerating pace, contributing greatly to Huadu’s effort to build the largest intelligent and connected vehicle industry base in China.

　　In recent years, the Huadu District Party Committee and District Government, thoroughly implementing the spirit of General Secretary Xi Jinping's important speeches, and following the work requirements of the Guangzhou party committee and municipal government, have unwaveringly adhered to the goal of "Intelligent Manufacturing-supported District”, and always placed the development of the automobile industry in a prior position; as a result, the District now has an automobile industry system that is led by the 100 billion-level Dongfeng Nissan vehicle and composed of a cluster of more than 150 auto parts manufacturing and supporting enterprises (41 of which are Fortune Global 500 companies or their affiliated enterprises); and the output value of the automobile manufacturing industry accounts for nearly one-third of that of the city. 　　Under the theme of "Empowerment, Innovation, & Win-Win", the conference is composed of the main forum on "Digital Innovation and Win-Win" and 5 sub-forums on intelligent auto parts, intelligent manufacturing, digital marketing, auto finance, and smart procurement, in which more than 40 keynote speeches and case sharing were made. Centering on trending topics of digital intellectualization of whole value chain of automotive industry, well-known academicians, industry experts and scholars of the country exchanged ideas, discussed, and shared their insights on the latest developments.

　　In his speech titled "Boost High-quality and Healthy Development of the Internet of Vehicles with Safe and Trustworthy Products and Services” Shen Changxiang, academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, expounded the importance of Internet of Vehicles safety and put forward constructive suggestions on creating safe and credible products and services.

　　Shan Zhiguang, Director of the Department of Informatization and Industry Development of the State Information Center, analyzed in his address "The Twenty Data Rules and the Digital Transformation of the Automotive Industry" the great significance of the newly introduced "20 Rules" in promoting the digital transformation of the automotive industry.

　　Zhu Xisan, Director of the Institute of Automotive Safety Technology of the School of Automotive Studies at Tongji University, discussed in depth how to make full use of user data for innovation and development of new energy vehicles in his speech titled "Closed-Loop User Data is at the Core of Intelligent New Energy Vehicle Innovation".
