Plaque Unveiling Ceremonies were recently held for the official launch of Huadu District Airport-based Transportation and Logistics Industry Chain Greater Party Committee, and for the operation of and the Aerospace Party Building Base as part of the Party Building Demonstration Zone with Characteristics of Airport-based Economy for New Economic Organizations and New Social Organizations. It marks a new and important step forward of the transportation and logistics industry chain of Huadu District in a new approach of party building that features "resource sharing, complementary advantages, mutual promotion and common improvement". The event was participated by leaders and responsible officials from the Organization Department of the Guangzhou Municipal Party Committee, the Municipal Party Committee for Private Economic Organizations, the Municipal Transportation Industry Party Committee, and departments of Huadu District, and representatives of 56 enterprises in the airport-based transportation and logistics industry chain of the District.

The representative from the Party Branch of Xue Hang Group, a leading enterprise in the industrial chain, had an exchange activity with that from Guangdong Provincial Party Branch of YTO Express on the topic of party building in the industrial chain under the title of "Red Chain Empowers the Joint Construction of Three Ways". The representative from the Party Branch of Xue Hang Group said that the Party Branch would insist on forging ahead and cooperating together, and take the enterprise development through red chain empowerment as an opportunity to strive to build a benchmark demonstration site for industrial chain party building, so as to promote the positive development and common improvement of the industrial chain. The representative Guangdong Provincial Party Branch of YTO Express said they would adhere to the idea that strong party building will lead to strong development, adhere to lead with party building, and inject new momentum into the economic and social development of Huadu District with red power.

Huadu District is home to the only large-scale air-rail dual hub in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, is a major part of Guangzhou's real economy, and is an important advanced manufacturing base in the Greater Bay Area. As the logistics industry vigorously develops, the extensive organizational network, the huge scale of employees and the efficient operation of the industrial system, in a word, the chain development of the industry requires that the work of party building must also keep pace with the times and follow the way of chain development. It is a new development of the party building work in Huadu District that enterprises upstream and downstream the airport-based transportation and logistics industry are linked, connected and organized with the help of party building chain.

Pursuant to the three-year action plans at the provincial, municipal and District levels for party building in New Economic Organizations and New Social Organizations, and focusing on the work requirements of the municipal and District party committees on creating the "Red over Guangzhou" demonstration zone for party building in New Economic Organizations and New Social Organizations and on the implementation of the "Red Chain Plan" that aims to jointly build the Red Union with private enterprises, the party committee of the traffic, transportation, delivery and logistics industry in Huadu District has, since 2022, experimented on the establishment of a greater party committee for the airport-based transportation and logistics industry chain in Huadu District. Consisting of three party branches of airway transportation, land transportation, and waterway transportation respectively, and having Xuehang Group party branch, YTO Express Guangdong Provincial party branch, and Xiongye Logistics party branch as the leading demonstration party organizations, the greater party committee covers and drives 56 key logistics enterprises to create a party building work system for the airport transportation and logistics industry chain, and will give full play to the role of "establishing the organizations, building bastions, organizing activities, gathering party members, solving problems, and seeking development for the industrial chain", in order to lead high-quality development of the industrial chain with party building.

It is worth mentioning that the party branch of Guangdong Xuehang Group, a leading industrial chain enterprise, plays a role of leading and demonstrating. Focusing on the two major themes: loving the Party and the country, and aerospace science and technology, they have built an aerospace party building base with an area of about 3,000 square meters, which is used to comprehensively display the such contents as learning and implementing the spirit of the 20th CPC National Congress with the help of digital technology, serving the country with aviation, modernized aviation logistics, and the achievements of party building among New Economic Organizations, New Social Organizations, and New Occupations, building an aerospace party building base as part of the Party Building Demonstration Zone with Characteristics of Airport-based Economy for New Economic Organizations and New Social Organizations, and providing a place for vivid and comprehensive theoretical education and practice. The party branch of Guangdong Xuehang Group was also awarded this year the title of 2023 Guangzhou "Double Strong and Six Good" Party Organization in Private Economic Organization.

Next, the transportation, delivery and logistics industry in Huadu will, following the requirements of the construction drawings and task books of Huadu's modernization program, provide comprehensive and practical services in relation to the airport-based transportation and logistics industry, and help build Huadu District into a global model of hub economic innovation that boasts of "big intelligent manufacturing", "big transportation", "big logistics" and "big business and tourism", so as to make new and greater contributions to promoting the high-quality development of Huadu District.
