On June 5, Huadu Tongyong Group held a groundbreaking ceremony for the hydrogen powered automotive equipment base of the intelligent production headquarters in Guangzhou Nandu Electromechanical Industry Co., Ltd. and a commissioning ceremony for the Huakai Lvqing new energy sanitation equipment intelligent manufacturing base in Guangzhou Huakai Lvqing Equipment Co., Ltd. This marked not only a key step forward in the business development and technological upgrading of Huadu Tongyong Group, but also an important embodiment of the Group's implementation of the "intelligent manufacturing" strategy.

According to information obtained, Huadu Tongyong Group's Intelligent Production Headquarters project is located in Huadu Autocity, with a total land area of 40,460 square meters, and a planned investment of 400 million yuan. The project will have a newly built Tongyong Intelligent Headquarters with 16 storeys above the ground, and a 3-storey factory building, comprising a total floor area of about 41,000 square meters, which will be mainly used for the design, development, manufacturing and sales of commercial elevators, escalators and hydrogen energy equipment. It is expected that the annual output value will reach 1 billion yuan, and the comprehensive tax revenue will exceed 50 million yuan after the transformation.

When Huakai Lvqing new energy sanitation equipment intelligent manufacturing base reaches its designed production capacity, it will produce 1,000 sets of compressed garbage bins/stations and 500 sets of new energy sanitation vehicles every year, generating an output value of 250 million yuan, a tax revenue of 15 million yuan, and 150 job positions. After the construction and commissioning of the projects, the company will strive to become a SRDI (specialized, refined, differentiated, and innovative) "little giant" and an "individual champion" in the manufacturing industry, and contribute to the construction of a clean, low-carbon, safe and efficient energy system.

China has vigorously promoted the construction of transportation rail complexes in recent years, and as a result, the demand for escalators has become increasingly salient. Tongyong Group currently holds in hand a large number of escalator orders from constructions projects like the third phase of Baiyun Airport, subways, and high-speed rail stations. The completion of the new plant of this project will increase significantly the production capacity of escalators. According to the national development strategy of "carbon peaking and carbon neutrality", Guangdong Province and Guangzhou city will actively build a hydrogen energy industry system, and support the sustainable and healthy development of the hydrogen energy industry; and according to the Medium and Long-term Plan for the Development of Hydrogen Energy Industry and other policies, the scale of the hydrogen energy industry will reach 300 billion yuan in 2027, which is a very promising development prospects. The hydrogen powered automotive equipment base of the intelligent production headquarters will mainly produce hydrogen energy equipment products, focusing on innovation of hydrogen energy technology to inject new momentum for economic growth.
