On September 22, the headquarters project of Guangzhou Lanhai Robot System Co., Ltd. officially started. This is an important move taken by Lanhai Robot System to help Huadu build a strong "Green Energy Valley" and create a new highland for the new energy industry, and it marks a solid step of the company down the road of future development.

Located in the No. 1 plot of the industrial cluster area of Qishan Village, Xiuquan Street, the Project occupies a total land area of more than 30,000 square meters, with an area of land for building of about 13,000 square meters, and a total floor area of 90,000 square meters. It has a planned investment of more than 400 million, and an estimated annual output value of more than 1.5 billion. The main products of the Project will be intelligent AMR mobile robots, intelligent logistics equipment, intelligent photovoltaic module equipment and production lines, and other products, including MES systems for the photovoltaic industry. It will also have four scientific research and technology centers, together with their corresponding test line platforms, including the robot algorithm research center, the technology research center for intelligent robot, the smart workshop solution technology center, and the high-precision equipment technology center.

The R&D, manufacturing and application of robots, which are known as "the pearl at the top of the crown of manufacturing", have become an indicator of the level of scientific and technological innovation and high-end manufacturing of an enterprise. Founded in 2016, Lanhai Robot System is a company dedicated to the intelligent manufacturing and unmanned factory solutions for advanced manufacturing industries such as photovoltaics, automobiles, and lithium batteries. Constant adherence to scientific research and innovation and years of development have made it one of the few companies that have core technologies in factory intelligent robots and intelligent logistics and information systems, and full product range. The relevant person in charge of Xiuquan Street said that in recent years, Xiuquan Street had relentlessly stuck to the development concept of "projects come first", closely focused on the goal of "building the best automobile industry base in the country", supported the industries with projects and vice versa, spared no effort to attract and implement investment projects; as a result, the Street saw orderly growth of main economic indicators, led in Huadu District for many years in terms of total industrial output value and of added value from industrial enterprises above designated size, and witnessed satisfying trend of healthy and sustained economic and social development of the whole Street. “We have a joint supervision mechanism specially established for the Lanhai Robot System project to coordinate departments at all levels, and took the lead in the District to experiment the introduction of state-owned enterprises of the District in ready land transfer. And it took only 41 days Lanhai Robot System to complete the land delivery process, making it the first village-level industrial park project in the District to complete transfer through auction. This is a full demonstration of 'Huadu speed' and 'Xiuquan's sense of responsibility'.”
