Guidian Jiaming (Guizhou) New Energy Co., Ltd. recently purchased and installed 3,254 solar photovoltaic panels produced by Huadu Gaojing Solar Energy Co., Ltd. for about 8,500 square meters, with an installed capacity of 2 megawatts. This marks a breakthrough in the Huadu-Puding photovoltaic new energy cooperation project, which is blessed by both Puding County of Huadu District and Puding County of Anshun City.

The project leader of Guidian Jiaming said that the company intended to 130-150 MW installed decentralized photovoltaic power generation capacity in Puding County in the next one to two years, which required more than 200,000 photovoltaic panels; and the company would give priority to purchasing solar photovoltaic panels and modules produced in Huadu under the same conditions, helping Huadu District in its cross-region layout of the industry chain.

In recent years, Huadu District has been focused on three new trillion-yuan industrial fields of photovoltaic, energy storage and hydrogen energy, planned to build the “Green Energy Valley” in Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao Greater Bay Area, and created the large platform of “ten thousand mu and one hundred billion yuan” for new energy industry, so that it can bear its share of responsibility in the national “dual-carbon” strategic mission, accelerate the development of new energy industry, promote the coordinated development of the region and contribute to the construction of Green Guangdong and Beautiful China. The construction of the "Green Energy Valley" project has received strong support from Guangdong provinces and Guangzhou city.

Since the establishment of a paired assistance relationship between Huadu District and Puding County in 2021, new quality productivity has been relied on to inject strong impetus into the high-quality development of region at the receiving end of the assistance; and the model of "eastern technology + western application" has been applied to attract good projects, and promote the transformation of assistance from "transfusion of blood " to "generation of blood".

The main leaders of Huadu and Puding attach great importance to the cooperation in photovoltaic industry between the two places; both at the joint meeting of Huadu-Puding East-West Cooperation, and in the visit of Huadu Party and Government Delegation to Puding County to carry out docking research work, the main leaders of the two places made it clear that they would continue to deepen industrial development cooperation, vigorously promote the collaborative development of new energy industry, give full play to the advantages of Huadu District in technology, market and price in the new energy industry, take the model of "eastern technology + western application” to seek more application scenarios in Puding for distributed photovoltaics, create good cooperation projects such as the "new energy + tourism + rural revitalization", promote the east-west cooperation between Huadu and Puding to a wider field and a higher level of collaborative cooperation, and jointly build a long-term two-way-effort mechanism of pair assistance that empowers each other.

Since the establishment of the paired assistance relationship between them in 2021, the two places have been empowered each other, and have achieved remarkable results. Through investment promotion campaign, 24 enterprises have been attracted and put into operation, with a cumulative investment of 561 million yuan; and a number of provincial characteristic pastoral villages-integrated demonstration pilot projects of rural revitalization have been jointly built, including Jiaojia Village, and Dishan Village; Huadu-Puding East-West Collaboration Industrial Park has been jointly built, creating a model of East-West cooperation; a cluster of "short-chain light industries" has been made to enhance self-development capabilities; and more than 527 million yuan of special agricultural produce of Puding County was purchased and sold. It has been a common practice for the two places to have two-way exchanges, including party and government cadres and professional and technical personnel of the two sides being temporarily assigned to each other, and exchanges and trainings of talents.

Relevant officials in charge from Huadu District and Puding County said that they would continue to pay close attention to the needs of the development of the two places, strengthen the coordination and cooperation between them, and add "new momentum" for industrial development. Stepping on the achievements that have been made, the two places will continue to broaden the field of cooperation, carry out collaborative investment promotion in the new energy industry, create more photovoltaic application scenarios, attract more large projects and good projects, work together to promote the cross-regional layout of the industrial chain, promote the industrial cooperation between the two places to delve deeper, rise higher and move to wider fields, so as to truly achieve win-win cooperation and two-way development.
